Go for March!
I was leading 2 workshops in Iceland from 11 to 25 march 2013, my first time at this period of time. All I can say is that it is far better than I could imagine.
Here are the 3 main advantages of March:
• Days lenght is perfect (7 am - 8 pm), we had great weather, great light.
• Beauty of Snow and Ice.
• Iceland is less crowded.
• Last but not least: Northern lights!!! Purely magical experience

After my trip, my v1 map has mostly fallen apart, but it served me well! I'd be interested in a summer or short winter workshop if you ever plan one Michael.

Well, I don't know why the paypal link is in french, it shouldn't be.
Half of my customers are from USA and they never told me about that issue before.
Maybe you should give it another try?
@ ccho: yeah, I noticed that the map V1 was having tough times during an icelandic roadtrip, that's why the V2 is printing on this special - almost undestructible - paper

sweet, so wanting to get there. Almost went in Jan this year, maybe next Jan. One of my staff are going next week for a week, but not hardcore photogs. Will mention though
