Still on Dauphin Island, really loving the dynamic environment. Every time I go out there is something new to see. Oh maybe the same types of birds, but in different places, doing different things . Loving being out on the secluded beach hearing nothing but the waves and the wind and never knowing what I will see.
The last one of the red egret is a first one for me . He was not close, but really enjoyed seeing him. I am going to have to hike that 2 miles down the beach with my 500 to get close to him. Not sure I can carry it that far
Always appreciate the suggestions and comments, nits, crits all.
Hope you enjoy !

A good set Birdie- all of them.
My favorite is the great blue heron; I love how it turned against the wind and all those feathers got blown around. It give the bird a tad more character imo.

I haven't been in a while in Dauphin Island. Great place for birders. Two great places are: the "Goat Tree," and the near by Shell Mound Park. Don't know if you have been there but it is worth a visit, especially during the migration season.
These look very nice, Birdie. I like the GBH shot best
I've never seen a Reddish in D I
