Me and my wife spent a few weeks in NC enjoying the beautiful nature of that State, particularly waterfalls.
I wasn't really looking for wildlife, but I managed to get my firsts Nuthatches.
I'm also posting a few pics of the many waterfalls we visited. #4 is called Dry Falls because you can actually walk behind the falls w/o getting wet (not true!) and if you have seen the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" you've already seen the falls.
C&C welcome.

Terrific waterfall images- and I love the nuthatch shots.
I wonder what the advantage is working upside-down on the trunk of a tree?

Congrats Socrate on the Nuthatches. I most definitely love the pose of of the White Hatch as it is their trademark and wow what a stunning Bg for it to blend off into
The falls are beautiful, the slower SS softened up the foliage too as I imagine there was a noticeably breeze moving those leaves
#2 and #3 are top picks my friend and good to see a post by you again
Lovely captures Socrate. Very enjoyable to view. Looks like a very peaceful surrounding. I prefer to add a bit sharpness to these. Personal liking only. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding Socrate...and congrats on the nuthatches...they are year round visitors to my yard...I'm wondering when they will figure out when to turn the other way round.

Thanks for the kind words, Karl. Happy to hear you liked the waterfalls and glad you mentioned the softness of the foliage (I knew you would). That is actually due to some blur I purposely added to the images. I just didn't like that postcard look I was getting. It was not what my eyes and my mind saw. So I decided to go the opposite way and added some softening to the images to get that calming mood I was looking for and that, in my view, goes with the silky moving effect of the water.
I do like the effect I got as I think it better replicates my feelings when I saw a waterfalls. The same feelings I'm trying to communicate with the images But then I might have gone too far

P.S. I realize I should have put this explanation in my opening comments.
Beautiful scenery but I particularly like the birds. I especially liked the first nuthatch shot. Great composition and I love the color in the background.
