Is this lens mostly used for portraits? Don't you find this lens is a bit long for what you shoot? Do you feel you want to go wider a bit such as 100 or 85 over this?

Great for portraits. I don't shoot wild life (unless the opportunity arises) but this lens is okay for that in the sense that it focuses very quickly/accurately but in most cases I bet it'd come up short. For portrats my favorite FL is 85-90mm and it took some getting use to shooting with this lens.
Recently sold mine as I was not using it at all. But here's a pic of my wife using the 135L. Would I buy it again? Yes if the need ever comes up for the focal length.
