I did some shooting with it at the Bangkok Foto Fair half a year ago. They had this Sigma lens and the Canon 1200/5,6 at the same place. I could try them for 45 minutes. It was so fun that I had to go back the next day and do it again

I wonder if that's the lens that that French paparazzi used to get those topless shots of Kate... that nice green color looks like it would blend right in at the tree line that folks claimed that those shots was taken from... from what, a half mile away?!

I've heard of VALS (voice activated light stand) before but a VAM (voice activated monopod) is new to me. And forget what be rental price is going to be, how much is that going to cost just in shipping?
VOB (Voice activated Bi-Pod).... unless I missed a disability in the picture....
Coincidentally, I saw a gigantic lens on video camera used to film Toyota commercial last Friday night -- Space Shuttle getting towed by Tundra pick-up across I-405 freeway bridge.
Do you have a 1:1 crop of that lens? I would love to figure our what it is. It mounted to an Arri Alexa for sure. The fisher dolly it is mounted to evolved from WWII bomb loading dollys. They are crazy well built

I think it's one of those "if you have to ask . . . " questions. It's going to be used for video from center field at the World Series. They didn't ask about shipping costs
I'm just curious what the crop factor is for this lens on a video camera...
