This is just beautiful. I love how you composed this shot with the dark patch in the foreground and the dark clouds in the upper corners. The aspens look like a river of yellow lava. Very dramatic find.

Thanks again everybody for your impressions. Shot this on Independence Pass between Aspen and Leadville. A really good Fall drive that kind of gets over shadowed by more iconic parts of the state. Always try to hit it a few times a year. Really cool in the Spring also with snow melt waterfalls.
Always fun to go out and shoot that.
