Right! That'll be a good read while your aircraft is approaching Vr, and you're in 'a room', at security.
My motto is, "do what they say, and smile while you do it". At the very least, don't ask more than one question. "Really?", usually doesn't get you very far. YMMV.

You can buy a little Allen wrench gizmo at Home Depot or probably any hardware store that looks kind of like a pocket knife with about 10 different size Allen wrenches that fold up inside. I keep one in my camera bag, I've never found any Allen screw that couldn't be removed or tightened with one of the wrenches in this thing. Sorry if this dupes what someone else said, I didn't feel like reading the entire thread.

oh by the way, yesterday i flew from ewr to sfo. at the TSA meet and greet area i showed them my tool kit including the dreaded allen wrench and they simply said have a nice trip.
