Hey I just want to add my 2 cents and give a shout out to D.Chan as well.
I have a CF C1691T travel tripod I bought in 2011. I lent the tripod to a friend and it had come back damaged. I realised when one of the legs didn't longer lock, when the leg is extended and simply slid away as the bushing was missing.
I thought I was screwed, but I found this thread thank god. tried Benro USA, no dice they never stocked the particular model. Emailed D.Chan from his blog and he has shipped me the spare part. I thought I would have to buy another tripod! Just waiting its arrival now to Australia.
Welcome to the forum Will and I'm glad that DC was able to help you. Last year I had occasion to order Gitzo parts from Manfrotto Distribution here in the US and that was a disaster. Ordering parts from China with either DC or HolgaCamera is a breeze in comparison!
BTW Benros are Gitzo copies and some of the parts are interchangeable. I have Benro parts on a Gitzo tripod and vice versa. It can be useful if you use both brands. Also since Induro tripods have a lot of components from Benro some of those parts will fit too.

As for the "top end" Benro models not being sold in the US, this sounds like more chicanery and trying to confuse/steer their buyers into the Induro line, which from the beginning have been the same products with a higher markup. What would have happened if the OP had a major warranty claim?
Because of course other manufacturers (for everything from cars, cameras, TVs etc. to clothing and so on) never do that do they
If I had a dollar for everytime I have tried to buy on Amazon only to be hit with "only for sale in North America" then I'd be able to afford an Otus.

Benro tripods have a 5 year warranty. For a major claim in that period I contact my dealer D. Chan, he tells me to ship the tripod to him and he takes care of the repair and ships it back to me. I'm sure the OP would follow the same procedure.
Can you please provide D.Chan's blog and/or his email? I am in need of getting some parts for my Benro tripod too.
Thanks a lot in advance.

After splitting the center column on my C-457 n6 (and getting a fantastically frustrating carbon fiber splinter in the process), I reached out to MAC this morning and was pleased to hear that they have replacement parts for my long-discontinued tripod.
MAC was a real help and walked me through other parts that would compliment my now long in the tooth tripod.
