I most likely will compare it to the 35G. I love my sig50/sig85 and as long as this has equal or more accurate AF than those two, it likely will be joining the club.

My thoughts exactly. I like the 35G but it doesn't "wow" like the 24G does. My siggy 50 and 85 are two of my most important workhorses and if the new 35 offers comparable image quality AND reliable autofocus I will jump on it.

I've played lotto with sigma lens ......had the 50mm & 85mm, had focus issues with both, so I bit the bullet cried once & bought the Canon 35mm f1.4, Canon 50mm f1.2 & Canon 85mm f1.2
Anyway I will say Sigma make an awesome 15mm fisheye that I have purchased & I'm very happy with. So lets see how this new 35mm from sigma is .......... if there's no focus issues than I guess you guys will be very happy ......... good luck

i'm really anxious to see how this performs and how the USB connection thing works.
WOW!!! Thank you for pointing that out, most blogs missed the USB dock.
Mind == Blown
If (and it is a big if) they give control over SA and distance based MA correction, I will be converting over to many new sigma lenses as this tech gets integrated throughout the lineup.
