Don't know where she got all the pollen , but it was all over her head.
Then she got a cigar plant blossom stuck on her bill. I wish I could have gotten a better shot , but she was really trying to get it off her bill !
Light not the best as it was very early.
As always your suggestions, nits are most appreciated.
The first reminds of Rudolf when his dad covers his nose with mud Too funny!!!
I too have shots of them with pollen on their heads Birdie. Some flowers have stamens that stick out far and when the hummers go to eat the stamens rub their heads
While I do like all of them, the last one steals my heart. That is just simple beauty, well done
You were really at the right place at the right time to get a shot like #1. I don't think I have even seen a HB with all that pollen on it head.
Looks like you had a great day of shooting!
What a fantastic capture on #1. Everything was perfect until it shook it off. Congratulations, Roberta. #4 is very special. Looks to be a juvenile. What serenity!
