great set..the post process is totally working...
-that tree branch in #20 is very distracting for me...in fact, i think you should rotate that pic 180 degrees...it would be creative and not as distracting.
-you can prob do w/o #19
-i'd re-edit #1...looks like you went overboard with the recovery slider

this is just knit-picking...they are going to love it and I really enjoyed this set...great work man!

I don't know if you read the rest of the thread, but they actually didn't like the photos. Thanks, for your feedback though. I need as much as I can get.

In general, it looked like she wanted to be there, but him? Not so much. Everybody runs into this, and you just have to find a way to engage with them and get them loosened up. Get him to talk about his car, dog, sports, hobbies, favorite movies, whatever floats his boat. It needs to start from the moment you meet them. Keep in mind, however, that expecting people to be lively and romantic at 6AM may be a bit unrealistic.

In #7, since everything from head to toe is on the same plane, it would make more sense IMO for all of it to be in focus. As it is, the grass and the bottom of her dress are out of focus, which is distracting. Some people do this intentionally and love it....horses for courses. Depending on what the original of #10 looks like, you could try re-cropping it with a tilt in the direction she's looking. This sometimes makes the image look more dynamic.

Thanks, everyone. Do you all have any resources that you can recommend? I'm thinking about buying this week's Creative Live on the subject.

Bryce's posing workshop on CL last week was the first workshop I've ever purchased from them. It was absolutely full of exactly the stuff you're talking about here (also my own weakness).

Consider 21, for example. After watching that workshop, I'd have adjusted the bride so that her weight was on her back (away from the camera) leg, bending the near leg, for a more flattering posture from her. That's not all that was needed to fix that shot (his expression is vacant, and I'm not sure whether I'd have eventually had her drop the arm or put it in his shoulder or something else, but at least her legs and bum would appear a somewhat smaller -- not that they look large, just that the pose as shot is less flattering than it could have been).

Overall, I think these are really nice. If the bride is unhappy, cut your losses now and run - sounds like a high-maintenance type to me. She should be happy

Thanks so much for the compliment.

Trust me...ties have been cut. It doesn't matter whether the problem stems from my lack of skill or her inability to be pleased, it obviously wasn't a good match.

You should be proud of your work because this is a really good set. Sorry to hear that the client wasn't pleased with these images.
