Out of curiosity, did you use any lens filters when shooting in harsh daylight conditions?

I have never used a lens filter (other than a closeup lens)

i have lost my tripod release plate so i had to use a flat stone as my "tripod"

Phillip, you have a great set of lenses.
What do you think about CV15 vs Sigma 19mm, is it a big difference between them in IQ terms so the cost of CV15 is justified?

I never performed a controlled test with either one but i think the Sigma performs a little bit better. The Sigma surely is a much better deal. If it wasn't for those 4mm...
