@Alex, here is an affordable version of the Gemini bracket that you mentioned. Very reasonable at $35 - http://www.adorama.com/FASSC.html

Lol for the wedding I used a black one because I actually wear it (to wipe sweat out of my eyes it was 101 and we were outside) and that's where the idea was born.

there is also Velcro on the flash heads so they don't slide around hard plastic to hard plastic because that's where the radio poppers usually live.
