Hi Tariq, mind if I ask what software u use for your stitching panos?
Nice shot(s) too.
Thanks. Just Photoshop CS6 for that one. The accuracy seems like it's much improved over earlier versions - whether that's the case or not, I don't know. I do spend the time getting everything as level and perfect as possible with lot's of overlap between frames so I probably don't push the software that much.
On a side note, I recently took delivery of a Nikon D800E and, after using the Pentax K-5 for a few months, I have to say Pentax really gets a LOT of stuff right with regard to user interface as compared to the D800E (which is pretty lacking in a lot of ways when it comes to ergonomics and user interface). Putting IQ aside, even he build quality feels much more substantial with the K-5.
BTW, Interesting perspective about the build of those cameras compared. I have just started with the D600 and find the build like the D7k, which is to say, cheaper feeling.

Pentax hit the body design out of the park with the K-7 and has not dropped the ball since with the K-5's. I've had a soft spot for Pentax's for a long while, it's only the lens issue which keeps dragging me back to Sony & Nikon, Pentax seems insistent on coming up with lenses a stop slower than I want in order to keep the size down, and the only real alternative is the large but fast Samyang and Sigmas.
One thing I do love about Pentax is the bodies are right-sized. The K-7 et al are just about exactly the same size as my Maxxum 7's (and look like Pentax cloned the Maxxum 7 design). Everybody else seems to insist that a good DSLR must be a large DSLR.
I would say that build quality of K-5 is one of biggest reasons to buy it. Wish everyone made this kind of quality.. (well Olympus did with "pro" 4/3s).
