Thanks for the kind compliments. I actually took this for my brother-in-law, who's father was a Korean War vet and who passed away in 1977. My brother-in-law was only 13 at the time, and never really had a chance to hear of his dad military experiences, nor does he have any memorabilia from his dads military career. I really tried to work the memorial for the best possible shot, and I am pretty sure this was it. I guess the voting, and more importantly, his reaction, will tell me if it was.
I think it is an outstanding, powerful and haunting image, your presentation brings life to the figures, the depth of field is spot on for conveying this scene, very well done. Win or not, it is a great image, I am sure your friends reaction will tell you that.
