Thanks Harsha! I think the I'iwi is my favorite also. They are hard shots to get but I think I'm finally getting better at it.

very nice collection of stuff - I remember seeing i'iwi, apapane and others in kokee national forrest on kauai. i really like the tropicbird image, the blue behind him is great. lots of those at kilauea point on kauai too! didn't have my rig then so another trip will be in order someday.......

Thanks Dorian. Kokee state park on Kauai is a great place for birds, but Haleakala NP on Maui is my go to place for forest bird pictures as the birds come down so low, and close to the trail. The tropicbird pic is from the Kilauea lighthouse which is a really great place for seabird photography. You should definitely come over...its pretty fun
