Good shots of an amazing find, Eric.
My "civilian" guess is that the leopard was particularly hungry. Generally speaking, not many predators (or even scavengers) will eat a scavenger. Kill them because of a perceived notion of them being competitors, yes, but not eat them.
All the more unusual to find this.

Tom, Tim, Socrate, Charlie....thanks so much...leopards are not choosey in what they will consume. They kill but are just as happy to scavenge. To them, a vulture is just protein and will consume it without question. I am still trying to figure out how it managed to kill it though.
