I've driven through the area but never stopped to photograph it. Maybe I will have to try it! Every image I see from the area always has that painterly look to it.
I have never been to this area. Unless it is different from the rest of the world, I can conclude your post processing was beyond belief and certainly skillful and artistic. Nicely done.
