It won't matter wether you find the hide button Ultrapix, a seed is growing, you know you want it ;-)
Truth be told though, it's expensive for a 50mm equivalent lens, more expensive then anything Nikon or Canon has to offer but like I said, it renders photos in a way I haven't seen before with any lenses I've had, it's gorgeous!
Lovely photos cputeq and juju, they all give the feel of the lens rendering :-)

Well, my 50L in truth is more expensive, but I guess that PL would fit even better my today needs...
The real problem is that I also want:
12/2
75/1,8
100/300 or something similar
9/18, or even 7/14...
Uh: 17/1,8, too!
And then, my outfit will weight like my old FF system
A long time ago, when I used to be a Leica fan boy (until 2008, really), there was an urban legend that claimed that the 135/4 Tele-Elmar was an "almost" Apochromatic lens.
Times, you know, they are a changing, so today I put my old Tele Elmar VS the supercheap 40-150 (I paid about 150 € for it, brand new, a deal from some kit splitting, or similar), and...
please check the pics, first is the Tele Elmar @ f:5,6, second is the Olympus wide open (f:5.4, really); pretty heavy crop:

I cannot really comment on the images but I do like the circles in the Brokeh from the Oly. Was the Elmar made for film or Digital?
I am very envious of those who live by the sea, which obviously does not mean that it is enough to take pictures as yours.
About Tele Elmar, it's from film age; amongts all my Leica lenses, only the Apo Telyt 180/3,4 seems to stand up to today standard. All the others show way too much CA for my tastes.
Took the beast out today (Minolta 600mm 5.6) for some practice - essentially, the lens just can't stand up to APS-C type pixel density, much less m43. It's an old lens (circa 1959) and a simple design. I'll probably end up selling it for a loss, since I really don't need anything longer than my 100-300. However, I can occasionally get a decent shot or so.

Ultrapix, do your self a favor and buy the Panasonic Leica 25mm, it's superb. I've alway liked the 50mm view and 50mm lenses (size wise as well as photo wise) but the Pan-Leica is something special, it's definitely not the smallest M43 lens but it's not big nor is it very heavy. It has a character to it that many other lenses miss....
Just got the PL 25 1.4 myself and it is pretty amazing - by the way don't let anyone convince you that its large or heavy - maybe for m4/3 its large, but its a fraction of the size and weight of my Sigma 50 1.4.
I also have the PL 20 1.7 (which I've always liked) and I've just started doing some comparisons. The longer FL and slightly larger aperture of the PL 25 provides a little more subject isolation which is nice, but the PL 20 1.7 holds up quite well.....
I didn't have to do much but yes, there is some small distortion correction in Lightroom 4.

Bobby, those 7mm shots at the mission: You must have applied some perspective distortion correction to those files, right? What software did that?
How are you losing these? I'm still using my original, and its never even come off accidentally, let alone been lost. I did lose my original hotshoe cover, but I bout 4 more for $3 on eBay to keep in my bag.
