These deer (I think deer?) are more or less tame and they live inside a fence nearby a large recreation area. Still, they wouldn't let me closer then about 50 meters which was still too far for the 40-150 and unfortunately I forgot my TC 1.4 at home (I was sure I packed it which only goes to prove, don't pack in a hurry in the morning before leaving for work).
After getting slightly annoyed with them running away and the ducks in the previous post not letting me get closer then 3 meters (I kind of understand them) I decided to turn my attention towards things that couldn't run away so the leaf had to pose for me.
I just found out the E-M1 with firmware 4.0 goes up to 1/16000 shutter speed with electronic shutter. I can't remember seeing anything about that in the release notes which I also found odd but it seems they added it anyway. Nice
Bought an E-M1 from the classifieds and the seller included a cheap Nikon to mu43 adapter. I have a old F mount Tokina AF 70-210 f/4-5.6 that sits in a junk drawer because the Autofocus no longer works. Threw it on the adapter and tried it out on the moon and it works pretty good.
