You guys are kicking ass and taking names in this thread, I've been busy and when I rarely browse I've been hitting the Sony A7x thread (because I'm now a Sony shooter) but I'm glad I stopped in -- great stuff!

I can't for the life of me understand those who claim the 14mm to be a so so lens. Look at the clarity of these shots!
For me personally, both of my copies were just not very good in the corners. Great in the center, mush in the corners no matter the aperture.
Now, normally, I don't care about corners, but I liked to use the 14mm for landscape occasionally and I wanted corner-to-corner sharpness (which is also expected when many other m43 lenses give you that) -- so having 2 copies with 'meh' corners was a bit of a bummer.
Also, the sharpness over the frame isn't the absolute best, if we're nit-picking here. I have what I think is a very nice shot in Colorado that I am happy with, sharpness wise --, but I know it would have been sharper and better overall with say the 12-40.
Other than that, though, I think the lens was pretty good, especially for the size, and the used prices on that lens here are absolute steals.
A sunrise/moonset from Muley Point, Utah looking southwest with Monument Valley on the horizon and the Goosenecks of the San Juan River in the middle. E-M5 mkII 7 12-40 f/2.8 Pro
I would like to get some opinion about Olympus 75-300mm F4.8-6.7 vs Panasonic 100-300mm F4-5.6. One of the reasons I'm getting into MFT system are those lenses, with 600mm FF-equivalent reach, and very small form factor.
Thanks
You should be aware that both of these are consumer-grade lenses i.e. decent but not amazing. Panasonic is scheduled to make an announcement of their new Panasonic-Leica 100-400 lens in the first week of January and it will retail for $2,500. At about the same time, Olympus will announce their 600/4 PRO lens which work with their 1.4x TC, and it will also sell for $2,500. At those prices you can expect the IQ to be far superior to their consumer-grade lenses.
