I’ve had the Olympus 7-14 PRO lens for more than 2 months and didn’t take it for a spin until now. A few shots here of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Thanks! Yes, I will keep the lens ... only because I have already sold my Panasonic 7-14/4. Neither lens is perfect. Both are equally sharp. The Olympus is f2.8, which is nice ... but it's quite a bit bigger and heavier than the Panasonic. Both suffer from lens flare but the Panasonic has this annoying purple blobs. Honestly, I was expecting the Olympus lens to be significantly better ... which it isn't IMO. If I still had my Panasonic I would probably return the Olympus.

Great shots, will you keep it?
Yeah I must have gotten very lucky with my 7-14 Pany on my Em5, purple blobs are there but very minimal and usually I have to work at it to induce them The ones that do show up by accident are easy to get rid of (so far).
I've read there is some variability in how the 7-14 reacts with various Oly bodies, even of the same model (probably tiny differences in flange depth or sensor covers, etc) and I'm happy to be on the lucky end of that.
If you have a good copy of the Panasonic 7-14 i.e. with "manageable" purple blobs I would advise that you keep it. With super-wide-angle lenses i.e. if you shoot mostly landscapes, the slower f4 aperture is just fine. Heck, the Panasonic lens is almost half the weight of the Olympus lens!

Oh yeah, I intentionally went for the Pany over the Oly 7-14 because of size/weight, the f/4 is irrelevant to me.
The harder decision was between the Oly 9-18 or the Pany, so I finally opted to gamble on the purple blobs for the higher IQ of the Pany and got lucky
Lack of native filter support sucks, but when I need a CPL I just zoom in to 10mm and hold my 77 B&W CPL with one hand over the front of the lens
Well, after a bit of a disagreement with it I seem to be feeling better about this E-M1
Couldn't decide which view of this hill I preferred so here are both. Both full frame, with a little bit of digital finishing.
