It appears that the auto focus on my 16 month old 12-40mm lens has quit working. Wanted to make sure that it was not the camera so I tried it on an EM10, an EM5II and a GX7. Does not work! I guess I will be sending it off to Olympus soon. I was hoping it was my EM5 that had bit the dust so I justify getting the Mark II.

Sorry to hear you have no excuse for the MK2, also sorry to hear the lens is faulty. With enough imagination I am sure you can arrive at a justification? I've pondered over the Mk2 and many other cameras. At the moment this old gear is so good it is very hard to fine a justification too buy the latest.

Well I did not know my 12-40mm had a focus clutch. My lens did not stop working, I did. Here is an image in celebration (mine) that my lens still works and does not need to be sent to Olympus for repair.
