802walker - I think you will definitely get more out of the camera with better glass. The kit lens is OK but the Pan-Leica 25, Oly 45 and 75 are a significant step above. I'm anxiously awaiting the 75mm. I also have the 7-14mm which is also a lot of fun to use

+1
at the moment I just have kit lenses (12-50 and 40-150) and 45/1,8, and the last one is in all another class.

You left out the Oly 60/2.8 macro which is very sensibly priced at $500 for such a great lens - as good as the PL 45 macro, Canon 100 macro and Sigma 150 macro.
Nice photography but these will have considerably more resolution and detail with a prime lens like the 12, 17, 25 or 45 lens ... or a good zoom like the 7-14 or 9-18. The kit zoom is okay but it won't match the IQ you will get from a DSLR or the OM-D with a prime lens.

These are my first photos I'm posting here. I've had the OM-D for about a month now. In all honesty, I miss the quality from my DSLR, but I wasn't using it cause of its size. I think the hit in IQ is worth it because, well, I'm shooting and enjoying photography again for the first time in years.
I'm still trying to dial in this camera. I know I can get better quality out of it than I am currently getting. I took all of these with the kit lens. I'm hoping that with some new glass, I'll see a jump in IQ. I'm thinking about getting the 7-14 and one prime.
Agree, except for the 9-18, that given what I have seen till now is not at all better than the 12-50...

Bobby - I left out the Oly Macro because I have yet to shoot with it or see enough results from it!!!
In the meantime, here's some from this morning with the Oly 45:
After looking at the reviews and images from Robin Wong, Ming Thein and Jordan Steele, I am totally sold on the 60 macro. I am convinced that IQ-wise it is superior to the 45/1.8 and very similar to the 75/1.8 ... so it's a must-have for me. I can now get rid of my EF 100L.
Here's a shot I took with the OM-D and 45/1.8 lens vs the 5D II and 100L. You will see more resolution/detail in the Canon shot naturally, as we are talking about 16MP vs 21MP, but otherwise the OM-D is impressive. Both are crops, not quite 100% but close.
A little bit of a torture test for the Oly 9-18 but I think it actually faired alright. Some weakness in the center next to the clouds but unavoidable without adding a lot more global contrast and making the whole image suffer.
almost a month ago now, my wife and i had to make 3 unplanned ER trips in a very short span, all 3 of which resulted in our now 6 month old boy getting flown over to Cook's Children's Hospital in Ft Worth.
He is doing great now, we're still in and out of Dr offices trying to sort everything out, but should be alright.
ANYWAYS- i had JUST gotten my OMD, and as usual brought it along for those "adventures".
I'm glad most of all that my son is doing well, but I am also glad that i had a small and VERY capable camera to record these moments. He'll be able to look at these pictures later in his life and be amazed at what he went through. 2 helicopter flights and 1 plane flight, all before 6 months.
For most (if not all) of these shots, i was on Ap prior, auto ISO, just letting the camera do its thing.
