Thanks Julien,
The fall light up here is quite lovely, revisiting the stuff I shot during the height of fall colours is something I enjoy during the current dreary transition from late fall to winter proper.
There is some truly lovely imagery getting posted, especially from the more southern spots where fall colour is still present.
More great action shots Duke, and I love them in B&W. The color/rain shot is very nice as well!
Kingfishphoto, I love the one of the materials. Great colors and nice composition, it could make a great addition to a "street" interview!
One from today. The light is getting really good now IMO. I know most people prefer to shoot in the summer etc but the light during the winter months in Sweden is amazing (well any northern country I'd guess). A sunny day with harsh lightning and the sun low during much of the day makes for a nice combination. Rather then a golden hour (or golden 2 minutes) we get a full day (almost) of different types of terrific light
It is without a doubt a very nice zoom lens - sharp wide open with very low CA compared to most m43 lenses. My only peeve is that even wide open it has way too much DOF (compared to a FF 24-70/2.8 lens) - which is great for landscape work but not so good for portraits and selective focussing work i.e. when you need a softer background. But this is no fault of the lens of course.

Well it depends on one's definition of "too much" DOF Granted roughly two effective stops of DOF tends to lessen the bokeh effects, but I think I'm finally starting to shy away from just "blasting" the background away all the time like I do with FF, so it doesn't affect me too much. I do get your point, though.
If I start to get the need for selective focusing and/or softer backgrounds, I'll probably pick up a cheap FD 55/1.2 for portraits and a Voigt 35 for general stuff
I like the DOF capabilities with a FF and a 24-70, but I'll be damned if I like the weight and bulk required in getting them!
Hey, ive got to show you all my date in Mexico recently. She looked pretty nice when the bar closed. However the next day was a different story, here iam checking her vitals.
