Two days ago I took pictures at a local live stage. Stuff I used this year were my trusted 5DII & 70-200 f2.8 II... and my OM-D combined with my M4/3 lenses (12mm f2/ 25mm f1.4/ 45mm f1.8 and my brand-new 60mm f2.8 macro).... The OM-D actually worked better then I had expected, the biggest problem was that my longest lens, the 60mm wasn't long enough....
Mark a nice set. Would the 75mm have been enough or maybe you are thinking about something a bit longer. I know in this kind of situation using the 5DMk2 the 200mm f2.8 was a very useful length to use.
@juju1958 It would have been useful having the 75mm f1.8 at my disposal. Especially the fast aperture would have been useful since the lighting of the show was rather dim. However I would have preferred something a bit longer too. The 70-200 zoom range is ideal for this kind of shooting. I would love to have a m4/3 35-100mm f2 lens for my OM-D. That and an OM-D upgrade with phase detection AF (capable of serious sports photography) and I would seriously consider changing systems (almost ) completely. Or at least buy that instead of a 5DIII which I am planning on now...

Mark I do not think you are alone in what you favor and could utilize. Along side the 200mm f2.8 on FF in band shooting situation I would use the EF 70-200 with great effect. I to ponder about the 5DMK3, but keep reminding myself that with all it's shortfalls the MK2 is still superb.
For me the OM-D is a fun camera and a joy to use rather than anything too serious.
Michael I am not to keen on tulips, yet I can recognise they may grow slightly on me, as these are some of the best I have seen, especially the first one. Nicely done.
I attempted some action shots using the 20mm. It's "ok", I wonder if one of the faster focusing lenses would make this kind of shooting easier. I would also like something like the 75-300 for more reach, as I was pretty limited on the shots I could get from where I was standing. Here's some of my better shots, that have been heavily cropped to get in tighter.

Thank you. I am enjoying the dark mood in your last two.
