A pure treat for the eyes Birdie, each one of these is just drop dead gorgeous. The way the Jumper melts into the blur in 1 kept me looking at that one for a long time. The feather also grabbed my eye, I really do like that one

Good stuff, Birdie. Love the spider shots especially.
Jumping spiders are not web-makers (although they make silk threads); they walk/run/jump to find and kill prey. If you were holding fairly still at the time, it probably didn't even think you were a living creature- just a big something that might have bugs .
Chase one with a finger and its behavior changes noticeably.

2 and the last are my picks Roberta. Great job.

Morris

Thank you very much Morris.

Awesome shots. I like all.

Jonathan, much appreciated.

Oh my Jumpers 1 and 2 are superb!
Love the comps and colors #3 and 4 seem a tad soft but likeable
Littly lady bug is neat, feather keeps interest with that nice bronze color in the middle that shows sharpness

Neat stuff, all good to me!
Karl

Karl, always so nice to hear your thoughts. Glad you liked them.

Gnashing teeth and claws do nothing to my psyche...put a 1/2" spider within 10 yards of me and I turn into a sniveling, whimpering little child...having said that they look pretty cool as I view them from across the room on my monitor
I'll take the lady bug and feather as they are the most non-threatening to me even though photographically they are all really good.
Eric

Eric, thank you very much ! Until I started macro I would NEVER EVER get close to a spider. Now they have to be the jumpers, still don't like the big ones

Very nice colours in these Birdie, a super set. My favourites here are 1, 5 and 6.

Paul.

Paul, thank you so very much.

all are lovely Roberta

Thank you Kenny.

Very nice set #2 just jumps out at me. I really like your composition on that one.

Rob

Thank you Rob. He jumped out at me too -- literally !

Holy mouse birdie, these all blew me away. Bruce

Why thank you Bruce ! Must appreciated.

A very pretty set, Birdie. The jumping spiders are my picks. Did you add some blur in #1 ?
Lindsay

Thank you so much Lindsay. No blur added , handheld so many have been some motion blur in addition to the wind blowing.

Nice series Roberta! #2 and 5 are my favorites.

Ted

Thank you Ted, appreciate your comments!

Lighting and colors are very nice on these. Well done!

Thank you very much.

Love the Jumpers. Excellent work.

Mike.

Mike, thank you so very much.

really nice work, I like them all

Joe

Much appreciated Joe!

Fine close work Roberta, the spider is too cool

Tom

Why thank you very much Tom!

#1 is just too cool with that orange background.

Tony

Tony, thank you so much !!

I love these Birdie, especially the spiders

-Tim

Tim, I appreciate your comments , thank you.

Wow! Number two for me.

Jim

Thank you Jim for visiting and commenting. Much appreciated.

When they jump on your lens, you need a lens that focuses reeeeealy close. It's the jumper for me - I love the eyes ~ Ron

When they jump at you , I try not to freak out I really don't want spiders crawling on me. Those jumpers are cute

Many years ago I was eating lunch with a female friend, (as opposed to a girl friend ), and a tiny spider crawled across her blouse - so I told her not knowing she was terrified of spiders. She brushed at it and it went inside her blouse. I thought she was going to come out of her blouse right there... She didn't, but she did bolt for the restroom. BTW, she did survive although I'm not sure about the spider... ~ Ron
