Just buy the Voigtlander used, and you'll likely get your money back if and when the Schneider comes out. I'm not sure which NEX you're using, but the CV 15 has some major color shift to deal with on the NEX-7.

Of course, these are going to be close to $2K lenses but if Schneider introduces a NEX version of the 14mm, it very well could end up being the Zeiss 21 equivalent many have been waiting on.

Do you mean the M lens? It is f/4.5...
This is great news, I didn't see this coming! I hope for a 17/2, and then I would buy.

That might tip the scales for me... I'm really contemplating the switch from my 1D to some form of mirrorless (since I'm only pretty much shooting on vacations, dragging even the basic kit around has become too much of a trouble with little return). NEX would've been an ideal choice because my wife already has one but a solid wide angle lens was missing (short of adapting a Sigma 8-16). Now this may be rectified.
Pity that the new Samsung 12-24 lens is still vapourware...
