RRS clamps and brackets only and I have both the B2Pro II and the B2 LLR II. Not sure how you see the bubble level when it is at the front but a screw clamp at the rear is weird since the screw is sticking out and in the way. And although everyone likes to do their own thing, even RRS show you the clamp and screw at the front.
I never use the bubble level. And my tripods also have bubble levels if I like to use that. Plus focusing screen with sections for accurate picture composition. And other brands also have the bubble level in a different place
It's much faster and more easy to use the screw or lever when you can see what you are doing.
And when looking in my RRS Celebrating 20 years cataloge, there where more pics with the screw/clamp at the back than in the front.
you can of course use your clamps in any way you like. But I think it's much better at the back
I stopped by a local camera store on Monday when I was going to pick up some small items for my trip and they had a used (great condition though) RRS BH-30, with a compact (50mm) lever release clamp on it. It was a good deal, and is more than enough for my G9 or 5D with a small prime, so I snapped it up. Playing with it the last few days, I think I will be very happy with it.
