Marty,
and to Russ,
there is NO success sweeter, in IMHO (for myself and my father) than the success of my kid(or as my fathers' first born son, for my father). I presume to speak for all of the Dads here on FM.
brings tears
please, Russ, and all the other fathers here, keep us in touch w/ the successes and(hopefully, not many, failures) you and yours experience.
this is a great place to share
and i, as a dad, and a ?photographer?
love to hear/see the progression on lives and images that are posted here.
sorry if a little goofy.

Many many congrats to both of you Russ... I can feel the pride in these images, and you SHOULD be extremely proud of her. No shot of the cap blowing off?
Wow, not sure how this one got by me, Russ- looks like I'm a little late to the grad party.
Those shots might be just a few simple clicks of the shutter, but they've been in the making for a long, long time, and are the physical tangibles that represent so much more. Take years of careful handling, guidance, wisdom, and a ton of love, mix it all together with a small amount of electronic data, and it produces some very large moments that you and Patrice are no doubt extremely proud of.
My hats off to both of you, buddy-- a damn big congrats. Cathy and I wish you and your kids nothing but the best...
Congrats Russ to your daughter and the family. Sounds like great things are still ahead! I have 20 years to wait as our little one is just learning to walk but I know it will go by fast!!
