p.2 #1 · Nikon 35 f1.8 DX on an FX camera?

I apologize for bringing back an old (and repeated) thread.

Is it just me, or is the 35/1.8 actually much sharper than the 35/1.4 wide open (or even at f/2)?

Other than the possible vignetting and distortion, I feel that the performance on the 35/1.8 is much, much better.

The 1.8g vs the 1.4g at the same aperture has been a no brainer in my experience... The 1.4g wins hands down (as it should at 5x the cost).

The 1.8g, as has been said often in this thread, is good at one "style" on FX - close up and wide open - otherwise the corners are worthless. I sold mine for this reason.
