Alright everyone. How late do you all plan to hang out? I'm buying my bus ticket and I'm trying to decide if I should take the 9:20pm or 11:20pm bus back.
Have we picked a place yet? Are we planning on just hanging around at the bar, or are we going to get more serious than that?
With it being a beautiful spring Friday, a lot of the places mentioned in the first post are going to fill up FAST, and might not be too accommodating of a large group just kicking around. I'm sure we can sort it out, but we might want to figure that out sooner than later.
Let me know if you guys are looking for more suggestions - like I said, i'm downtown in Philly 40 hours a week, so I know it pretty well.
I just let Ian know but figured I'd post here as well. We're now the proud parents of a black lab puppy and I'm going to have babysitting duties on Friday night as the Mrs. has a shopping trip with some gfs planned.
However, I'd love to catch the next one!
I'll be in DC (Alexandria) for the Sexy Business workshop in July. I'm hoping we have time to get some of the DC crowd together for dinner/drinks/conversation one evening.

This is dead on.
I'd recommend a place like Philadelphia Bar and Restaurant (PBR) or Mac's Tavern. They have decent food or you can drink there and then walk around that area for some slices of pizza or a cheesesteak.

PBR was on my list to recommend as well! I was also going to throw Nodding Head and the Perch Pub out there if everyone wanted to stay downtown, and the Standard Tap and Frankford Hall if people wanted to get away from the beaten path.

Text me when you guys are in town. I'll be there all day and if I can swing by (even for a minute) to say hi I will.
