Bare feet do nothing for her. She needs the height. What a cutie though.
Great set. Everything an engagement set should be. Nothing here was standalone WOW however. You need a couple those kinds of shots that make the client/viewer really go "DAMN". It's what separates men from boys and the full timers from part.
Sam, thanks, and you and Mark are absolutely right. Don't get me wrong, I love the look and feel of this shoot, clients love the photos, and it's a cute one to show. However, the whole time during the shoot I felt like I wasn't getting anything outstandingly creative or differentiating. Thanks for pointing this out.
She is most cute. I'd be cheesing it up big time if I'd shot this e-session...
I feel there's a bias towards over exposure in these, particularly in the early ones. Only a bit, but it leeches some of the impact from the images which are otherwise extremely good. Stuff easily sorted in post I'd argue. It's a great set but my biggest criticism is that we don't see much of him. If it makes you feel better, I feel that I live the guy out of nearly all of my shoots!
There are no shots of him. If I had nothing to go on but these images, I would say you are attracted to her (duh, who isn't) as there are no shots that show the dude...
The problem I have with this set is that it not only show cases the bride, but seems to intentionally hide the groom's face. If his cold was that bad, reschedule the shoot. Sure we only see 18 out of a possible 70-100, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume there are many great shots of him as well. If not, reschedule and shoot it again. As a parent of two boys, if I stumbled on this thread and saw 18 pics and not one full view of my son's face, I'd be hot. Just saying.
the photos are nice, but the one thing I will say is that the posing feels very...posey. He doesn't
look engaged in the situation. I know that sometimes couples are kind of stiff, especially the guys.
Great looking stuff. Bride is beautiful, but the groom... well I can't see him.
Seems you were tempted to showcase the brides looks, while looking past the groom. However, beautiful work overall.
I think Sam H said something about needing a "WOW" shot, but I don't agree. I think that may be his style, but I think what sets your work apart, is consistency and style. That seems of more value than one or two stand alone's.
She appears easy to get good shots of. The one thhing that stood out on the guy was the big wallet in his back pocket. The shots in the high grass were my favorites.
Great work I like them all, the only odd thing that caught my eye is the logo on the helmet in 13 HJC is reversed like you were looking at it in a mirror.
