#1 and 2 are the standouts. Great detail and light in #1 and #2 is such an unusual pose for this bird. That's wall worthy my friend. I'm lucky to hear them call, and I never see them. You must have some special "touch"! Don
The second one takes the prize in my books, buddy! But what a nice, productive morning you must have had. 20 gigs of images....gesh, where are the other 1,520 shots Get 'em posted!
I'm guessing you wanted to have the beginning of the foot in there but crop the green stuff out in the first image, will ya?!

It was like being in a zoo! It was unreal Bro. After all those times of seeing these guys on dark gloomy days I finally got lucky and had some out it the open in sweet light. Thanks for the good words Tom!!
I know I'm in for a treat when I see a new "Tim Kuhn" post and boy did you deliver big time buddy. Must be the Great Atlantic and Pacific Rail or it was blown off course. On the other hand what's in a name? Beautiful shots with just the perfect amount of environment and of course that second one is to die for.
I hope the solitude and then the surprise appearance was uplifting!
Eric
