I would really love to visit this pond - seems like a wonderful place. More gorgeous shots here - all of them are awesome. Great job workin the low angle, it made for some really nice bg's, and great perspective on the bird.
Thanks so much for your really kind words Ashley. It's a great spot for sure, but because of some recent changes to the surrounding area, the BG's aren't nearly as nice as years past. Still pretty decent though.
Just more super stuff from you Kruk Superb work my friend, the techs are spot on, the comps are there, what more can I say What a wonderful set Kirk. I wish I was laying in the mud next to you at your pond
Kristy............simply splendid my friend You know I love this type of shooting from you, I gotta think you are grinnin' ear to ear behind that viewfinder when you shoot these. What a setup buddy, smokin'! Love #2
Keep it going....
Karl
Thanks buddy. This is such a cool spot and I'm continually amazed that more shooters don't take advantage of it.
Yes, the grin is from ear to ear and usually stays there until I go to bed that night.
I do love it.

Great shots Kirk my friend! I can see how you position yourself to get the shots ... Do you have a mat or go dirty up like some of us? Those strained muscles at the neck and the back need deep-tissue massage ... All are awesome, but #3 is top for me with great eyes contact and the mud droplets.
Khai
Dirty all the way, all the time Khai.
As you know, the aches and pains are totally worth it. Thanks for the good words my friend.

Kirk, they look all great but the BG and water action in #2 makes that my favorite.
As a user of the same lens with 1.4TC I really appreciate you leave the exif intact. Thanks.
Chris
Thanks Chris... I love #2 also.
Glad you find the exif info helpful, I always enjoy seeing how others shoot too.
