Indeed.
This particular event was in Canada, but in the US, the majority of competetive English saddle equestrians are women, and many (all?) are as beautiful as the sport they participate in.
A few recent shots I'm pretty happy with. The wider sunset shot was taken with the 35L. The girls in the paddleboat was taken with the 135L. The black and white tree was taken with the Zeiss 18/3.5.
I read Fred Miranda's review comparing the 5D Mark 3 to the Nikon 800 and ask the question, is Canon falling asleep or are the coming out with a camera that can be compared to the Nikon?

There are some very nice images here. Some are incredible. While my images may not rise to that level, they do show, I think, what the 5d3 can do that the 5d2 would have struggled a bit more with. That is shooting moving targets from a wildly moving platform.
Can you say what autofocus settings you used for these shots? Did you have spot-AF in the center, or did you rely on the 5d3 to pick the AF points? (and what about all the other AF settings...)

Not heavily invested in Canon but I do not have any reason to change ship, I will buy the 5DIII over the D800 and keep it for some good 5 years or more.
My 5D (Classic) still does a great job most of the time and I do not see the D700 having better IQ in what I usually do, The 5D II has few advantages and the 5DIII seems the right balance for me.
All cameras have their shortcomings and while sensor can be better in one camera than the other, I see no much difference when checking the pictures. (Tastes=colors)

Those kids are definitely not receiving proper abuse!
Sunrise in the smoky mountains a week or so ago.. I'm not one for getting up at dawn but where we were staying I couldn't help it.. I kept getting woken up anyway and 1 of the 3 mornings was this.. wish I'd had a tripod.

Very nice Image. It looks awesome like that but I bet with a ND grad filter set and a tripod it could have been amazing. Great location! I like the choice of focal length and composition with the horizon lower down.
