My first attempt at a wildlife video. I hiked in and set up the video camera then left and drove around the lake shooting at other wildlife with my still camera. Four hours later I went back and picked up the video camera. Because there is so little action and what there is is only a few seconds long, the editing is a pain in the rear and takes forever. I took this video on 04-21-12 and it is 4 minutes and 8 seconds long, this what I got our of 4 hours of footage. I did notice she has a shrill voice.

I stopped on my into the nest and then again on my way out and grabbed a few still shots.
I really enjoyed watching the video. Never tried the video in a DSLR but I can see how it complements the still photography. The last three shots are dynamic.

Wonderful shots Roger and I enjoyed the video . It was nice to hear the calls they make. My dog jumped up on the sofa with me and started at the computer screen

Using both as soon as I learn how might be a good idea.
Welcome to the wonderful world of video. The key is remembering you CAN do this and not remember later when the moment has passed...as I did last weekend
