I like the way your faded image perpetuates the persona of your profession as "scary people that might hurt me" which makes me not want to go and see......... but must
This shot is simply fantastic on every level. You have captured dentistry in a very evocative way. I particularly like the way your hands dominate the scene suggesting how important they are to your work.
Does anyone have any idea why this thread doesn't appear on the assignment thumbnail page? Am I staring at the thread and not realizing I have the wrong assignment number or something like that? It seems O.K. to me.
Thanks Dave for hooking my picture up. My website provider tells me their router's are fine. Obviously there is an intermittant problem as this has happened once before but been reliable in the past. Sorry all. I guess I will use the FM Image Upload service which has obviously been flawless in it's performance.
You've achieved an excellent feel of impending misery . I love the dramatic lighting of the hands and the dof of the 'big bad' dentist in the back. Perhaps i'm projecting just a bit too much here.
No doubt as to your job description, excellent composition, lighting and general image quality, and a creative perspective. What more is there?
This is a great shot and I get the feeling I am passing but trying to hang in there as you start your work... One question - how did you setup your camera to shoot? Remote? on camera timer? then rushed to position?
