Surgery on my left shoulder has kept me on the sidelines for 2 months. Doc says I still can't lift anything over a quarter of a pound with my left arm for two more weeks.
I may have cheated a bit... but I couldn't stand it anymore.
Just one to share from a quick outing.
D300 w/ 300 f/4 and 1.4 TC which weighs just slightly over a 1/4 lb.

I think you are alright going out and taking pictures. I had heard from the fan boys that Nikon has figured a way to make it so pounds aren't really pounds. They are just many points of mass and the their new processors keep juggling that mass so inertia never really has a chance to get a hold of it Yeah, that's it
