Thanks for the kind words all, one of my 1st shots with my 'new to me' 5D II. Even shot this in MF with an old OM Zuiko 50mm 1.4. I really didn't think FF would make such a difference. I know the photographer makes the picture but for a spare like me any benefit I can get from better equipment helps.
Nice work, svassh. The angles made by the elbows and crossed legs are quite striking; the limbs form an almost perfect triangle, echoed by the angles of the hassock...this works so well that it would have been a total accident had I been doing it!

Thanks Jerry, I can only take credit for getting her to cross her legs the rest was all her.
Dang - I wish I could read like this young lady again. What a quintessential "child" image. I like the composition, too - really works to keep her centered in the photo.
