"Unfortunately our month was up at end of March. This nest just down the road from where we were staying had little ones in it. I would imagine that by now they must be almost ready to fledge."
Well Paul I checked on them yesterday. Here they are
From Sarasota the nest is a little farther from where I live so I had to use the 800mm combo.
Just kidding I do not know where Paul stayed in Florida!
Any way, just try to enjoy these. C&C always welcome

Hey, Saba- This is an incredible image- the preciseness of processing can come later.
I just really enjoy this pic for several reasons. From their sizes and general "look," it seems as though mom and dad were excellent providers for both their babes. They can't do any better than that.
Thanks for the look.
Charlie
These guys look big enough to leave the nest, nice capture.
I was staying on Estero Blvd, Ft Meyers Beach. The nest I monitored was at the theatre parking lot, for anyone who is interested.

Thank you Charlie. Yes these ospreys have been together for more than 3 years now. They know how to care for their offspring

Thank you Paul. Did not have any luck at the estero lagoons this year. Maybe next year we will go shooting together there. In the meantime there is always summer in the Maritimes
Cheers
