Here, on a very fine board which often has some of the best attributes of the internet, we also sometimes see some of the worst.
One person says CL is unsafe because you'll get sexually assaulted, which then opened up the floodgates for those who think that sexual assault is a joking matter.

Lighten up... people can joke about anything.
Anyway, right before the 5d3 was released, I picked up a 5d2 on CL for $1500 and the deal included three nice CF cards, a tripod, and an extra battery. I was able to flip it the next week for $1700 and keep two of the cards, the battery and the fairly nice Manfrotto tripod. I have therefore officially made more money through camera gear arbitrage than I have in selling pictures for 2012...

The mere fact that people can "joke" about anything doesn't make such "joking" appropriate. I have a perfectly good sense of humor; I also have sense, which some seem to lack in distressing amounts....
