All: D200 + 80-400 VR + 1.4x TC@ 560mm, ISO 800, 1/1000, f8, fill flash (SB910)

These were taken Friday morning at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area on Long Island, New York. This is the second of a series of tree swallow threads I�ll be starting and I promise they will not disappoint and will have a great ending.

Sweet set Morris. Just curious, have you tried these as portraits (i.e. give a bit of "breathing room" top and bottom?)

Morris these are perfect! But where's the artsy blur or the fog...I guess you can do this stuff just as well! Excellent shots.

Whoa Morris superb captures! Great light poses, perch, backgrounds! Well done! These have not arrived here in Mich yet. Can't believe these are with the 80-400 and a TCE!! Holy!

Great fill flash as well. I could not detect flash whatsoever!
