I just want to ask a general question, after having received my D800 yesterday. Does it seem to you that your lenses have suddenly become sharper? Is it sharpness, or is it all the extra detail this high rez sensor gathers? That and the increased DR have really impressed me.

For me it's the extra detail and the higher resolution. The 100% crops are amazing....

Even crappy lenses look good at standard screen resolution because of all those pixels.

You lot are making me jealous, the weather here is a nightmare, so sticking with my church interior project.
Here's a before and after shot. I underexposed this shot by four full stops to keep some of the window detail, then lifted the shadows in LR4 (Saved it as a action) I've tugged the verticals a tad also. I just love the DR of this camera. - Wooly
