Anyone here still shooting with an XE1? I know the AF speed is supposed to be slow, but I am thinking of getting the 27/2.8 or 35/2 to mate with it for an everyday carry. How bad is it really? I have seen the slow refresh rate on the EVF when it gets dark, but I have always used adapted glass to this point. Thoughts?

Kevin, Scott and I both have tried the XE1 He gave up on Fuji after that
The AF is horribly sluggish and for a few dollars more you would be much happier with an XE-2
Major improvement with AF and everything else
Sell the D700 and get a XT1 and a lens. You would be very happy

I would avoid the XE1 if I could -- much better options for just a few bucks more. Even in decent light, the EVF sucks.

I still use my X-E1 and almost exclusively use the 27mm on it. It works fine for me, but I only use it outdoors; usually in good light.
I have it within myself to become the guy who posts too many pictures of his cat. Instead, I will share this image of a distracted Christmas tree salesman at the Dallas Farmer's Market. Taken with the 35/1.4 and X-Pro 2.
