The American Oystercatchers are in the middle of a huge group mixed sandpipers and I was as well. I was photographing the sandpipers with my rig balanced by the lens foot on my leg and using the LCD to compose when the male oystercatcher mounted the female. I slowly lifted my X-H2s to my eye to avoid panicking the birds and then took a burst. Thank goodness for fast and accurate AF.

Preparing for the eclipse tomorrow, I captured this image using my X-Pro3 camera paired with a lens equivalent to 900mm, cropped to a 1200mm equivalence. I used a 16-stop neutral density filter for the shot.

Where are you going to be?
It's passing right over our house, full totality between Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
