Tough for me to answer this. The closest equivalent I have is the Fuji 14mm, which I have used much more than the Touit 12mm. The 14mm is smaller, lighter and very sharp, and for the way I shoot is of more value to me. Don't get me wrong, the Touit is a VG lens, just a bit too wide for me most of the time, as I am not primarily a wide angle shooter
Thanks for your thoughts. I don’t shoot wide often either, when I do it’s my Nikon 24/2.8 on a Speedbooster to keep the focal length near the same. Manual focus glass is getting harder for me, so I’m slowly replacing them with native glass.
Most ducks fly at about 50 MPH (80 KPH) yet red-breasted merganser wizz along at 80 MPH (129 KPH). By the time you hear them they have passed making a cray sound of speed. I took these photos at the West Pond of Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge at the spot we call the runway as the water fowl fly in and out at this point and as I'm standing on a dam they are at head height or just above.

Wow - I'm surprised you didn't get whiplash trying to follow them!
