i know the lens used has OIS but the X-T1 doesn't.
yet at 1/25sec, the water was nicely blurred while the edges of the leaves where sharp.
i'm thinking of traveling with my X-T1 & X-T2 and was thinking of whether i would need a travel tripod.
of course for more blur, i would need support but i thought the blur was pretty lovely for 1/25.
thanks for the sharing.
thumbs up.

If I had brought my tripod along, I probably would have used a slower shutter speed to make sure I blurred the water, but I had to make do with what I had. I tried a few shots at lower speeds but the OIS wasn't quite up to the task, so this was the best compromise. Here's another one from the same day:

The XF 70-300 is great for these type of shots. Great colors!
I love mine for travel. I also bring the 1.4x TC for an equiv. 630mm when needed. It's super compact long tele with great IQ.
It can do wildlife in a pinch, too...

If you can get close to your subject, using the 1.4x teleconverter offers a super light and compact way to shoot beyond 600mm. The image quality remains excellent!
