I've recently started collecting my images of trees and forests in a dedicated google album. Really fun exercise and I rediscovered some photos I had completely forgotten about, including the two below taken in October 2021
Just a query - should these 100V pictures not be in the 100S,T, V thread. I thought this was for X Mount pictures - i.e from XT and XH series of cameras?

There's that pesky little X in front of the 100V you know
It's also the same sensor as many of the X-* ILC cameras.
Just be glad someone is posting in a mostly dead forum!
These where taking a few years ago, but they pretty much around the neighborhood around 9 months out of the year. They stop by my neighbors tree since it gives its fruit towards fall/winter time. BTW, this is in Southern California.
Pentax Super Takumar 300mm F4 (forgot to change the lens setting from the 180mm I was using - IBIS still did fine). There's some serious purple fringing in this lens but I thought this image cleaned up nicely.
Slowly refining my Kodak Gold 200 emulation...getting closer today...it's hard when your subjects have a bunch of orange in them, and the only time to work on it is golden hour
Was curious how my Gold 200 sim would look at sunrise, I've been focusing on highlight control and shadow recovery built into it to better emulate film's dynamic range. Very happy with the result. Nice to see the golden warmth isn't overwhelming the frosty whites.
