My first test shot using my Fujifilm X-Pro3 and Canon 300mm f4 connected using a Fringer EF - XF Pro II adapter. The Fringer allows for Auto Focus, IS and tranfers lens info to the camera. Seems strange seeing these 2 connected..
Here are a few pictures I took this morning with the X-T30 and the 16-80, which I have rented for a week to try out Fuji. Asking myself do I want to abandon Sony FF for a small and lighter kit to carry around? All were processed in LR, with the door also in Efex Silver.
First time out with friends in 3 months. We wore masks and stayed at least 6 feet apart enjoying conversation and nature at Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge here in New York City. It was a gray day with bright overcast sky and for a change very few people were in the park. Unfortunately it was one of those days with fewer birds as well yet in this marvelous preserve it means you only see a dozen birds a minute.
To bring out the color of the mallard's head, I processed using Fuji's Astia/soft film simulation rather than my usual Provia/standard which is rather natural color.

Fantastic framing Morris.
I've yet to even try to get a grip on all the different film simulations on the Fuji. So far I'm simply in Standard....probably will stay there for quite a while.

Thank you Robert. There are actually two filmsims called standard, go figure... In ACR I hover over the various simulations to see which creates the look I want. More often I start with Provia/standard and then adjust per taste. The simulations can get you to very nice places quite quickly. The B&W sims are super as well.
